Dressed in White - Jessica Gibson I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. This review is 100% my own opinion.I loved this book, and read it in 2 days.

This is a romance novel lovers dream come true. I'm a romantic at heart so I instantly fell in love with it.

This book is like a soap opera. Things alternate from going great to drama in the blink of an eye.

I don't know that I'd be as accepting as Lorelei was about Dillion's past. I couldn't believe Dillion in some aspects. In others, I fell totally in love with him and saw why Lorelei loved him so much.

I was on the edge of my seat wanting to see what happens next. I fell in love with all of the characters.

I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. I give this book a 5 out of 5.

Murder by Syllabub - Kathleen Delaney I received this book for a fair and honest review. The opinions in this review are 100% my own.

This is the type of book that grabs your attention from the very first page. There is no lag in the story, there is always some kind of action going on.

The murder of Monty is a classic "who done it". Monty did not lack enemies that's for sure. His murder ends up with more questions than answers.

The women of the Smithwood house are complicated women. While they are trying to figure out who the murder is, they are pretty tight lipped about how they are feeling about things.

The women are different in personality but all come together to make sure Elizabeth is not falsely accused.
This book will keep you keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happens next right to the very end.

Although this book is part of a series, this book can be read as a stand alone. This is the only book I read in the series so I can only assume they are all like that. I give this book a 5 out of 5.
Sisters In Love (Love in Bloom: Snow Sisters #1) - Melissa Foster I received this book for a fair and honest review.

This book would best be described as a romantic chic lit. Danica is the mature sister who does things the right way, the professional.

Blake is the playboy type. He loves when women swoon over him. When he meets Danica in a less than grand way, he is stunned he was turned down. This just makes the game of cat & mouse that much more enjoyable for him.

This is a great book to curl up in your favorite chair and melt the day away.

This is book 1 in the Sisters in Love series. I've read a few of Melissa Foster's other books. This is Melissa's second Romance genre book. The other was a stand alone.
The Scent of Roses - Charlene Raddon I received this book for a fair and honest review.

This story is a good example of why we should not judge people and assume things about others. You have no idea what their past is like and why they behave the way they do.

While I loved the character of Roselyn, I also found her frustrating. She was so set in her way of thinking she was not letting anyone in. I understand her past but still found it frustrating.

I loved how all of the characters matured by the end of the book. By the end everyone was getting along and working together to solve the murder of Josiah.

There was a twist at the end I did not see coming at all. It left me speechless. At the end of the book you can almost see the lightbulb moment for Roselyn.

I highly enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to others.
Devil in the Hole - Charles Salzberg I received this book for a fair and honest review.

This is not just a book about a crime. It's a horrific crime that is hard to wrap your head around. What kind of person murders their family in cold blood like that? Then just simply walk away like nothing happened.

This book is not read like a documentary where the author just describes the murders, and how the town handles the shocking news. It is told in varying points of view of people that knew the husband/father John Hartman.

Although this book is fiction, it is also based on a real murder case. This book is perfect for readers who enjoy reading about true crime.
Annie Crow Knoll: Sunrise (Annie Crow Knoll, #1) - Gail Priest I received this book for a fair and honest review.
This book grabs you and won't let go from the very first page. I found myself wanting to get back to Annie and read more when I was unable to get to my kindle that day.

This is a book that makes you feel for the main character. Annie is a complicated soul. She has always lived on the Knoll. She has never wanted to live anywhere else. With the passing of her parents at a young age, she is left to run her family's summer cottages on her own.

This is a coming of age story. However, it's so much more than that as well. The story follows Annie as a young girl to a grown woman with a family. I feel everyone can see themselves as Annie in different times of her life.

I highly enjoyed this book. I noticed it's part 1 of a series. I'd love to read the next one and will be looking for it.
Fallen for You (The Killer Next Door, #1) - Carlie Sexton I received this book for a fair and honest review. I loved the blurb of this book instantly. It sounded so good. Trust me it is. This is book 1 of 3 books so far. I can't wait to read the second one!

From the very beginning of the book Kate had guilt over something in her past. To me it didn't seem as devastating as it was to her. In life we never know how an action or situation is for another. That is why we should never judge someone. This is what makes us all unique.

Kate's next door neighbor Roger is creepy to say the least. While I was reading about it him I would get chills and be freaked out.

I was happy to see the character of Kate move on from her past and embrace life again. She is finally doing things to make herself happy and not living in the past.
A 3rd Time to Die George A Bernstein - George A Bernstein I received this book for a fair and honest review.

A bit of paranormal and a bit of suspense combine for one heck of a story. Past lives with visions of murder and a budding love story make for some sticky situations for Ashley and Craig, the two main characters.

This was a very unique story with no angels, demons vamps or wolves involved. The suspense comes from something completely different and that's quite refreshing for readers who are full up of those types of books.

The plot is engrossing and will keep you up reading late into the night to find out what happens next.

Last Day - Richard La Plante I received this book for a fair and honest review.

The general public has no idea how hard uncover police work is. You have to be something you are not for an extended period of time. Sometimes the assignment makes you not be able to be in contact with your loved ones. At least not as often as you'd like.

You are suppose to remain detached emotionally from those that you are around during your assignment. Unfortunately Charilie has a hard time doing that. He found himself emotionally connected to the man he is sent to take down.

I found myself feeling bad for Charlie. Not only is he away from his wife and child, he found himself addicted to Meth. He was suppose to bring Ray down, not become dependent on him.
Cache a Predator - M. Weidenbenner I received this book for a fair and honest review. I absolutely loved this book and read it in 2 days.

I found myself feeling so bad for both Brett and Quinn. No parent should ever have to worry about losing their child. That nightmare became a reality for Brett. Not once but twice. The people that were sworn to protect Quinn failed. They failed in a big way.

When we think of addicts we think of how they screwed up their own lives. What we don't think about is the lives of their loved ones that are now affected. That is exactly what was going on with Brett and Quinn.

The way the villiante took action against the pedofiles in this book is very original. I've never heard of dealing with them in this manner. I'm glad it's not going on in real life.

I was totally engrossed into this book and didn't want to put it down. I hope this author writes more novels and I'll be sure to look for them if she does.
Take Me Now (Take Me Now, #1) - Faith Sullivan I received this book for a fair and honest review. This is a quick read.

I'm a romance novel lover. I was excited to read this book.

I think all of us at one time or another have been part of unequited love. Either as the person with the attraction, or the person on the receiving end. No matter what side you are on, it makes dealing with the other person difficult to say the least. Ivy and Eric both are dealing with this situation.

All of this love triangle drama makes Ivy's much needed summer internship very difficult to do a good job at. She is constantly on her toes and waiting for the next shoe to drop.
Script Kiddie: Assured Destruction #2 (Volume 2) - Michael F. Stewart I received this book for a fair and honest review. I was excited to read this book since I read the first one.

I loved that this book starts off right where the last one ended. Janius is now doing her community service and healing from her injuries from the accident. She is also still a tad bitter towards her moms boyfriend Peter.

Janius's middle name should be trouble. She finds trouble no matter where she is or what she's doing.

This book is a quick read and enjoyable. I love that although it talks about computers, and what Janius can do with Shadownet you don't have to be a computer genius to understand what is going on.
The Posse - Tawdra Kandle I received this book for a fair and honest review. I was very eager to read this book since it's by one of my favorite authors.

I fell in love with this book instantly. I was sucked into the story and didn't want to do anything but read to find out what happens next. I'm a romantic at heart. I love to read romance novels. That being said, I only like ones that you can see happening in real life. I don't like the cheesy romance novels that make all men in a sex symbol.

I found myself very early on rooting for a particular Posse member. I don't know why... I just found myself drawn to him. I'm not going to say who that person is...if you've read the book and want to know feel free to PM me. :)
This book would make a great book club read.

I'm sure a lot of people felt like Jude did at first. You lose your spouse and you don't want to even think about dating again. I don't think our loved one would want us to be lonely and alone. I think they would want us to move on when we are ready and to love again.
