I originally picked this book to read because I needed a fluff read. It's anything but fluff. Maureen shares everything from her past. She has lead a wild life.
I'm glad at age 50 (she's older now but turned 50 when she wrote the book) she was able to finally be happy with the woman she is.
I think Maureen had the problems that most child actors had. Drugs seem to be a common denominator for them.
